is a Co-op dedicated to supporting homeschooling families that are raising up children in the place of prayer. We strive to provide homeschooling families an opportunity to extend their children’s learning experience with a design to compliment Bible-centered instruction.

OUR DATES

Our calendar is based on the school year.  We begin in September and finish in June.  There is a tuition fee which helps to support our teachers. We have an Orientation each September, but new families are welcome at any time during the year.

OUR SCHEDULE

The Isaac Academy meets on Tuesdays from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
We spend time in the Prayer Room each week in worship and prayer. Children take turns leading the prayer meeting and interceding for what is on the Lord’s heart. All of their prayers are based on passages of the Bible that they have studied. After our time in the Prayer Room we share our experiences with one another.

And the LORD came and stood, calling as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant hears.”

1 Samuel 3:10

OUR CURRICULUM

All of our lessons emphasize the importance of intimacy with Jesus and a love for the Word of God. We develop our own curriculum. Our lessons come from the Prayer Room. We pray each week for what we feel is on the Lord’s heart. We believe that prayer is talking to the Lord and listening for His response. We know that the prayers of the children are precious and powerful. We teach and encourage them to encounter the Lord for themselves.

THE PRAYER ROOM

We believe that encounters with The Lord will be found in the place of prayer. We teach children the prayers found in the scriptures. We also give them ample time in the prayer room to encourage them to express themselves in prayer and worship. What makes The Isaac Academy unique is that children and parents are able to seek The Lord together as a family.

BIBLICAL FOUNDATION

We are not just reading Bible stories. We are teaching children to love the Word and to know the Word. I Samuel 3 tells us that the Lord called Samuel as a child. We believe that children are called to be forerunners. They do not need to wait until they are adults to learn to serve the Lord and prepare the way for His return.

THE SECRET PLACE

We will be strengthened in our prayer life when we are connected to The Lord in the Secret Place. Children will learn to talk and listen to The Lord as a lifestyle.
Deuteronomy 6 Parent Support Group
Many families comment that parental support is as important to them as the quality instruction their children receive.  We believe that proper support can only come from the Word of God. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 tells us that we are to teach our children the commandments of God in every aspect of their lives. Our D6 Support Group is a place  where parents can share their struggles and victories in fulfilling this simple yet profound mandate and also have teachers and speakers come and give instruction on creative ways to do so
Academic Supplementation
If your children are in need of assistance academically please reach out to us.  We may be able to provide tutoring services. We may be able to connect you to teachers that have experience working in many different grade levels.

Meet the team.
